The nonprofit sector has a very important responsibility to raise educate the public about its reality. This initiative by Imagine Canada is a fantastic tools to ensure that people can better understand all the financial information that is found on the CRA website as well as an organization's financial statements. More importantly, we need to make sure that people also understand that we shouldn't only use an organization's financial situation as an evaluation of it's impact in the community. I'm just grateful for smart people like you and Brian who have developed this fantastic tool to help fundraisers be more successful. As for going to NYC, no luring required, I will happily go any day! I'm hoping sometime before the summer *fingers crossed*. We will meet for sure, you're on my "Fundraising Rock Stars" list :) Actually, I'm hoping to lure YOU to Montreal. I'm on the AFP-Quebec chapter board and just joined the Education committee. You are on my list of recommended speakers. We should have a meeting soon to start planning this spring & next year's sessions so I'll keep you posted.
